Yes We Can! It’s the reason we exist! During the consultation phase, you will fill out an in-depth Health History and Nutritional Profile form that will help us assess your exact lifestyle needs. We will individualize our nutrition and wellness strategy that will support your current health conditions and strive to help you overcome them as a goal. In special cases, when you are under a strict dietary protocol per your Physician, we will work collaboratively to ensure our customized nutrition and wellness strategies are appropriate for your health condition(s).

YES. Your Coach is a certified Health and Wellness Coach that has gone through an intensive training program accredited by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBWHC), Qualified Advanced Centre, International Coaching Federation, The Health Coach Alliance and Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA).

We would be happy to IF ONLY they accepted Us. Insurance companies have yet to cover these services as a form or preventative management with respect to one’s health. Recently, some progress as been made by the American Medical Association who passed CPT codes that have opened a path for Health and Wellness Coaching Services to be potentially covered by insurance.

However, at present, these codes are utilized by Medical Professionals submitting directly to insurance companies.

Some providers do allow for reimbursement of Health Coach services using FSA/HSA benefits. Please check with your provider or FSA “covered services” listing.

A Health and Wellness Coach works in collaboration with clients to guide and support them in their endeavor to improve upon or create positive changes to their Lifestyle. Whether the change they seek is Physical, Spiritual, Emotional or Mental in nature, a Health and Wellness Coach creates a safe, impartial and open environment to help their clients explore their wellbeing through a Holistic lens. Through this self directed exploration, Coaches facilitate behavioral and lifestyle changes that ultimately nourish their wellbeing and lead them to lasting life affirming changes.

While all 3 health professions share the inherent goal of improved client health, the following areas also make them markedly different:

Nutritionists typically create specific, nutrition-based guidelines that may specify certain diets, meal plans and supplementation for the client to follow to target specific health issues or concerns. They also may utilize lab tests and other blood work to assess client’s overall nutritional profile to support their client’s desired health goals.

Dietitians typically provide nutrition therapy for specific medically diagnosed diseases, disorders and health conditions. Dietitians usually work in hospitals, nursing care facilities, clinics, and private practice. They create unique dietary plans for clients based on their medical needs.

Health and Wellness Coaches focus on client health through a holistic lens. They explore all aspects of a Client’s health and wellbeing to help the Client meet their lifestyle goals. Health Coaches empower their clients through knowledge, accountability, support, guide and facilitate behavioral changes for a positive, long term health outcomes.
